India’s emerging student platform YugScholar has officially entered its second year, marking a significant milestone in its journey toward building a nationwide academic and skill development ecosystem.
After successfully completing its first year, the organization is now preparing for its next academic cycle, with the first District Level examination scheduled for 26th April 2026.
A Structured Multi-Level Academic Competition
YugScholar operates through a multi-tier competition model designed to identify and nurture talent at different levels:
- District Level: Conducted on the last Sunday of April
- State Level: Conducted on the last Sunday of May
- National Level: Conducted on the last Sunday of June
- International Finals: Invitation-based grand finale
At each stage, the top 100 students qualify for the next level, creating a competitive yet progressive pathway for students across India.
The exam structure is also designed to increase in complexity:
National Level: 150 questions (90 minutes)
District Level: 40 questions (30 minutes)
State Level: 90 questions (70 minutes)
Registrations Open for Classes 4 to 12
For the 2026–27 session, registrations are now open for students from Class 4 to Class 12.
Participants can choose from six subjects:
- Mathematics
- Science
- English
- Social Studies
- General Knowledge
- Computer
The platform allows students to select one or multiple subjects, with an exam fee of ₹250 per subject.
Scholarships and Recognition
YugScholar has introduced a structured reward system aimed at encouraging academic excellence:
- National-level scholarships up to ₹5,00,000
- State topper awards up to ₹25,000 along with gold medals
- District-level awards up to ₹5,000
- E-certificates for all participants
This approach ensures recognition not only for top performers but also for broader student participation.
Introduction of Professional Certification Programs
In a significant expansion, YugScholar is also introducing professional certification programs focused on future-ready skills.
The programs include:
- Python Programming and Software Development
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (Coming Soon)
- Full Stack Web Development (Coming Soon)
- Android App Development (Coming Soon)
- Data Science & Analytics (Coming Soon)
These programs aim to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry-relevant skills.
Focus on Authentic Learning and Evaluation
According to the platform, certifications will only be awarded after meeting specific criteria:
- Minimum 50% marks required to pass
- Proper evaluation through final assessments
- Reattempt options available for students
This system is designed to ensure credibility and maintain the value of certification.
